A marker for sure! We were reflecting the other day about how each year of our shop's life has been different . . .
Year One (2017-18) was getting ourselves established while figuring out a lot of business-related things! (remember, neither one of us has a "business" background!)
Year Two (2018-19) was hiring helpers and the start of the 'Sue's in the UK chapter'.
Year Three (2019-20) was "everything's humming along nicely until March". And then is was crazy (for everyone) AND we expanded the business with physical Mini-Bar classroom/storage space - plus online shopping.
Year Four (2020-21) was planning for downtown move, actually moving, and discovering our new neighborhood.
Year Five (2021-22) getting comfortable in our beautiful space and still figuring out business-related things while embracing our little spot in the "Shop Small" Making Community.
We'd like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of this journey! We know it's cliché, but we would absolutely not be here without you.
Please keep spreading the word about us!
We are 'slow and steady'; no alignment of the virtual stars in terms of explosive super-popular handdyed yarns or inexpensive warehouse-only web sales.
We're here because we love to share the joy of making something with beautiful yarn in Billings, Montana. It is a privilege to be a part of what you make!
Look forward to my visits on the way to and from my sister’s. I have enjoyed the On The Rocks Boxes very much even if I have gotten a little behind in the making… My friends all want to know the latest news from the Yarn Bar whenever I have something new to share. Thanks for these 5 years and hope to enjoy many more!
